This is one of the best sites in Ecuador to see Choco Endemic birds. At 1700 to 750 MASL (5610 to 2470 ft) is a trasition zone medium altitude private cloud forest located on the Pacto road 9 km past La Delicia. There are 22 choco endemic birds registered in this site which is probably a record for Ecuador. This is the closest site to Quito where you can find the Indigo Flowerpiercer.
This is an excellent place to see the Indigo Flowerpiercer, the Moss-backed Tanager, the Glistening-Green Tanager, and many other difficult to see birds.
