Lalo Loor Dry Forest Reserve

This reserve has 200 hectares of tropical deciduous forest owned by a private individual and managed by the Ceiba Foundation for conservation and educational interest. This reserve is inside the Important Bird Area EC010 named Hacienda Camarones which is a 2000 hectare farm privately owned in which is found remains of this tropical semi-deciduous forest which lies between the more humid forest to the north such as the Mache-Chidul reserve and the the dryer forests to the south.

It is approximately 25 km south of Pedernales next to the small town of Tabuga on the road between Pedernales and San Vicente.
